Practical information
At Miss Friss, all treatments take place in my private home in Nakskov. To ensure a calm and safe environment for both you and me, it is important to read the practical information before booking an appointment.
Access and accessibility
The treatments take place on the 1st floor, and therefore unfortunately there is no possibility of access with a wheelchair or other walking aids that require level-free access.
If you have any questions about stairs or access, you are always welcome to contact me before booking.
Pets in the home
There are cats in the home.
They are not present during the treatment itself, but are in the home. If you have allergies or are uncomfortable with animals, it is important that you take this into consideration before booking an appointment.
Flexi jobs and employment
I am a flexible worker, and all treatments are carried out in collaboration with Flex Virk, where I am employed. This means that I have a limited number of appointments and prioritize peace, quality, and plenty of time for each treatment.
My flex job is granted on the basis of ADHD and emotional personality disorder of the borderline type. This means that I function best when there is calm and predictability around me. In order to be able to give you the best possible treatment and ensure a safe and present process, it is therefore recommended that you come to your treatment alone.
Accompanying persons
The treatments are basically only for the person who has booked the appointment.
It is therefore not permitted to bring friends or others to the treatment without asking first.
Children for treatment
I generally recommend that children do not attend treatments as it often lengthens the treatment and can make it difficult to keep to the schedule.
If you need to bring your child, always ask in advance. Some days this is not a problem, but on days with multiple treatments it can be difficult to avoid delays.
As I work from home and am a mother, in rare cases situations may arise where I have a sick child at home. Should this happen, you will always be informed. Depending on the situation, this may mean that I have to cancel and offer a new appointment, or that I inform you that my child is at home and that the treatment may therefore take a little longer. In such cases, you have the option of getting a new appointment if it suits you better.
Parking
There is parking right outside the door.
Please note that any neighbors must still be able to get in and out when you park.
Appointment booking
All treatments are by appointment only.
It is not possible to show up unannounced, as the treatments are performed in my private home.
Age restrictions on treatments
I do not perform nail treatments on young people under the age of 18. This is partly due to the fact that young people under the age of 18 are not of legal age and therefore cannot be held liable for agreements, eg in the event of a no-show, and partly due to professional considerations regarding the development of nails.
The nail plate is not fully developed until around the age of 16–18, and it is individual when the nail is fully mature. On nails that are not fully developed, there may be an increased risk of poorer durability of products, increased stress on the nail, and a greater risk of developing allergic reactions. For this reason, I do not recommend nail treatments for young people under the age of 18.
For massage or hair removal, exceptions can be made in certain cases for young people under 18 years of age if the appointment is booked through a parent or guardian. Please contact me in advance if you have any questions about this.
